Micha Star Liberty Joins Gibbs Law Group as Of Counsel, Expanding the Firm’s Sexual Assault and Trial Advocacy Capabilities

Gibbs Law Group is thrilled to welcome Micha Star Liberty to the firm as Of Counsel.  Micha is a nationally recognized trial attorney dedicated to representing individuals who have been injured or abused, including survivors of sexual abuse.  With more than twenty years of experience, Micha has been widely recognized for her achievements, receiving numerous awards including Top 100 Women Lawyers in California, Top Plaintiff Lawyers in California, Woman Advocate of the Year, and Street Fighter of the Year.

She has served as past president of Consumer Attorneys of California, Western Trial Lawyers, and Alameda-Contra Costa Trial Lawyers, as well as past vice president of the State Bar of California.

Micha’s dedication to her clients, commitment to trauma-informed representation, and proven success achieving meaningful results on behalf of her clients greatly bolsters Gibbs Law Group’s practice, particularly in our representation of survivors of sexual assault. We are ecstatic to welcome Micha to our team.

Amanda Karl Elevated to Partnership

Congratulations to Amanda Karl, who was recently elevated to the firm’s partnership.  Amanda prosecutes a wide range of complex cases, including in the areas of employment law and consumer protection, within a variety of industries.  She is deeply committed to fighting voter suppression and spearheads Gibbs Law Group’s Voting Rights Task Force.

Amanda is active in the community, currently serving on the Board of East Bay Community Law Center and has been honored as a Rising Star by Northern California Super Lawyers every year since 2018.  Prior to joining Gibbs Law Group, Amanda served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard A. Paez, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and to the Honorable Claudia Wilken, Northern District of California.
