Mike Fong

Mike oversees the financial and accounting areas for the firm. His work encompasses payables, payroll, receivables, accounting, financial statements and analyses, forecasting and planning, internal controls, tax and regulatory compliance, as well as retirement plans and insurance.  His prior work has included being the main point of contact for external auditors, tax firms, banks and other financial institutions, regulatory agencies, insurance companies, and other outside entities.

Mike is involved in the daily finances of the firm and is responsible for the firm’s financial and reporting requirements. He strives to ensure accuracy and timeliness in the execution and accounting for financial transactions, to recommend and implement processes and systems to help improve financial controls and identify cost efficiencies, and to enhance the analysis and reporting of financial information to provide key insights and make informed decisions.  Mike has 13 years of controllership experience working in various industries, most recently at a blockchain, cryptocurrency company, where he helped guide the company through four years of clean financial audits.

Mike graduated cum laude with a B.S. degree in Accountancy at California State University, Sacramento, and is an active CPA licensed in California.  In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, running, watching sports, and doing activities with family and friends.
