Yana Verma
Yana is an integral member of the Eaton Fire Litigation, supporting clients impacted by the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires. She works with clients through the various stages of litigation, from initial intake, to organizing case documents and evidence. Throughout the process, she serves as a consistent point of contact, helping clients understand their legal options while ensuring their cases are handled with diligence, clarity, and care.
Yana recently graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2025 with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Data Science. As an undergraduate student, Yana worked as a Research Apprentice at the Berkeley Law Civil Justice Research Initiative, where she conducted research on class action lawsuits, specifically analyzing post distribution accounting and settlement distribution trends in the Northern District of California. Through this work, she developed a strong passion for advancing civil accessibility and is deeply committed to improving access to justice for underserved communities.
