FDA Warning
Is There a Testosterone Supplement FDA Recall?
Testosterone therapy or Low T products have recently been linked to a significantly increased risk of heart attack following studies published by PLOS ONE, the Journal of the American Medical Association, and the New England Journal of Medicine.
The risk of heart attack is not listed on product warning labels. The Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not issued a recall, but issued a safety alert on January 31, 2014 regarding its investigation into the risk of stroke, heart attack, and death in men taking FDA-approved testosterone supplements. According to the FDA, the products are approved only for use in men who lack or have low testosterone levels in conjunction with an associated medical condition.
