Our team was appointed by judges to leadership positions in large-scale cases against PG&E, including the 2017 North Bay Fires cases, the 2015 Butte Fire cases, and the 2010 San Bruno Explosion cases.
Lead counsel Amanda Riddle was an integral member of the team that negotiated the $13.5 billion settlement with PG&E during the company’s bankruptcy following the 2017 North Bay Fires and the 2018 Camp Fire, which collectively killed over 100 people and destroyed over 30,000 structures in Northern California. Amanda currently serves on the nine-member oversight committee for the PG&E Fire Victim Trust, which manages the distribution of the $13.5 billion fund.

On January 14, Amanda Riddle appeared on a panel for the Beverley Hills Bar Association to provide practical tips to Los Angeles fire survivors. The nearly three-hour discussion covered wide-ranging topics including guidance on navigating the insurance claims process and cautioning against hiring public adjusters or taking money from FEMA.
On January 21, 2025, Amanda Riddle provided advice to fire survivors on a virtual webinar offered by the Motion Picture and Television Fund. The webinar focused on how to navigate insurance claims, financial planning & tax considerations, accessing industry-related support, and other topics.
